Desktop Client 0.1.3: your liveries, straight into ACC
No more copying folders by hand: the new desktop client downloads the liveries of your communities right into your ACC folder.
Meet the Awesome Simracing Desktop Client. Enter your API key from awesome-simracing.com, press sync, and the liveries of your communities land in your ACC folder. No ZIP files, no copying, no hunting for the latest version of a livery. Get it on the desktop client page.
Since the first prototype (0.1.0) a few versions followed quickly:
- Only what changed: the client checks every file and only downloads what is new or updated, which saves you time and bandwidth.
- See what happens: a progress bar and a status for every livery.
- Your folders, your choice: set the livery folder and the log file yourself.
- Always up to date: the client tells you when a new version is available.
- A link to the help page, app icons and a smoother interface that no longer freezes.
