Desktop Client 0.4.0: car file download and garage
Just in time for the holidays: get the car file for a livery with one click, and keep track of your custom cars in the new garage.
Just in time for the holidays, here is one of your most requested features: downloading car files directly in the client. Open a livery in the livery list, and the new detail view gives you its car file with one click. The new garage shows all custom cars you have installed in ACC. Update with the button in the client or get it on the desktop client page.
- Car file download in the livery details, together with artist, file and car information.
- Your garage: see, update or remove your installed car files.
- Stay informed: see the progress while the liveries of your collections are loading, and cancel the sync whenever you want.
- Many collections, no problem: following lots of collections or liveries no longer ends in errors, and a livery that is in several collections shows up only once.
- Tidier layout: the sync button and the livery overview are separated, and the links to the website, the Discord and the FAQ moved to the footer.
- Fixes for a version check and a sync progress bar that got stuck, and more. Your settings now live in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\awesome-simracing\settings.ini.
